Payments are processed by Stripe. The name on your card statement will be the seller's Stripe descriptor.
What you are buying
Digital PDF files: The Calm Before guide, The Partner Playbook, the printables pack, or a bundle of them, in the regional edition you choose at checkout. Nothing is posted to you. The files are delivered on the page you land on after paying and by email.
Prices are shown in the currency of the region you select and are charged in that currency. Your bank may add a conversion fee if your card is in a different currency. Where tax applies to digital goods in your country, it is included in or added at checkout as shown before you pay.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to read, print and keep the files for your own household. You can send the Partner Playbook to your own birth partner. Please don't share, resell, upload or reproduce the files beyond that. The text, design and images are copyright of the author and the seller.
Refunds
If the guide isn't for you, email us within 30 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. No reason needed. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days.
If you are in the UK or the EU: because this is digital content delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that delivery starts straight away and that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once the download is available. Our 30-day refund promise above still applies regardless.
Not medical advice
The Calm Before is written by a parent, not a clinician. It shares personal experience and summarises publicly available guidance from organisations such as the NHS, Tommy's, the Lullaby Trust, ACOG and the AAP, correct as far as we know at the time of writing. It is not medical advice and does not replace your own midwife, doctor or maternity unit. Guidance varies by country and hospital. If you are worried about your health or your baby's, contact your care team. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither the author nor the seller is liable for decisions made in reliance on the guide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The free checklist and emails
If you request the free hospital bag checklist, you give us your email address so we can send it and, afterwards, occasional notes from Alex. Every email has an unsubscribe link. See the privacy page for how your details are stored.
Changes and updates
We may update the guide from time to time. If you bought the bundle, you can re-download the current version from your original download page. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
